Artists: Daniel Wilkins

Daniel’s current practise has developed from making painting that are not concerned so much with the act of painting, but rather with object that have been painted. They are works that question the physicality of painting, painting as objects rather that pictorial planes. Through the use of unconventional shapes his work refers not only to its own space and physicality as an object but also the architectural space in which it is situated – in a sense becoming an intervention in the space.
