My subjects for paintings come to me from anywhere and everywhere. I never know what it will be that I connect with at a certain moment. It is nearly as elusive as 'chance' and that's the way I like it. It is the great joy of being an artist.

Helen Dudley trained in Fine Art at Falmouth College of Art and there continued her MA focusing on 'Japanese Aesthetics'.
She is widely travelled and currently lives and works in Oxford where she is part of a collective studio at Magdalen Road.
