ARTWEEKS AT MAGDALEN ROAD STUDIOS

Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th  10-6 daily

All the studios will be open for the weekend. Come and have a look at a wide variety of work including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, film and fashion. There are also children's activities, an evoloving interactive artwork and delicious home-made cakes. Tom de Freston's new paintings will be on show in Filament 14, the studio's new exhibition space.

DARKROOM

There is now a photographic darkroom in Studio 5 of Unit D.

The darkroom is equipped with an LPL colour head enlarger, 8"x10" and 12"x16" developing dishes , masking easels, mixing jugs, etc, and cold water washing facilities. A warm water washer soon to be installed soon.

The space is available for hire on a half-daily basis.

Martin Hackett can also offer courses in basic darkroom technique: the production of good quality black-and-white prints on resin-coated paper from 35mm negatives.
